Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Swedish free-jazz trio, anchored by Mats Gustafsson's ferocious saxophone playing, delivers a masterclass in tension and rhythmic endurance. The album relies on incredibly heavy, repetitive bass grooves and krautrock-inspired drumming that slowly build into fiery, avant-garde improvisational climaxes. It is a profoundly dark, hypnotic exploration of minimalist jazz-rock.
