Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the tragic dissolution of the Minutemen, Mike Watt and George Hurley forged ahead with frontman Ed Crawford to create an intricate, deeply rhythmic approach to alternative rock. 'If'n' refines their jazz-inflected punk roots with fluid basslines and sharp funk-rock accents, representing a crucial evolution in the SST Records catalog.
