Neo Yankees' Holiday

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The breakthrough third album by the Japanese outfit introduces a more expansive, psychedelic sound heavily informed by the Shibuya-kei movement and laid-back island rhythms. Showcasing Shinji Sato's distinctive high-register vocals and Kin-ichi Motegi's relaxed drumming, the release marks a critical transition toward the ethereal, atmospheric compositions that would define their later masterpieces.
