Supersnazz

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Supersnazz' introduced the Flamin' Groovies as a band looking backward to early rock and rhythm and blues while operating inside the late-1960s San Francisco scene. Its deliberately rough humor and retro leanings set the group apart from the dominant psychedelic sound around them. The album later became part of the foundation for the band's reputation among power pop and proto-punk listeners.
