Originally conceived as a collection of unreleased tracks, this second release by former Yes guitarist Peter Banks' ensemble maintains a frenetic, tightly coiled approach to progressive rock. Characterized by Banks' highly aggressive, jazzy guitar phrasing and complex interplay with the rhythm section, the record possesses a slightly darker, more dissonant edge than their debut. Despite internal tensions that would soon fracture the group, the instrumental prowess on display solidifies their cult status among 70s symphonic rock aficionados.
