Album Notes & Community Reviews

The third and final studio offering from Peter Banks' post-Yes ensemble delivers a technically frenetic, highly complex slice of 1970s progressive rock. Plagued by internal band friction during the recording process, the compositions lack a cohesive conceptual center but remain impressive for their aggressive instrumental interplay and Banks' distinctly jazz-inflected, rapid-fire guitar phrasing. The group disbanded shortly after its release, securing their legacy as a brilliant but volatile cult act.
