Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Everybody Scream' finds Florence + The Machine blending guttural rock with folk-horror aesthetics, creating a sound that is both flinty and entrancing. Written following Florence Welch's life-saving surgery after a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, the album serves as a deeply personal exploration of healing, witchcraft, and the raw emotional power of screaming. The record, created with collaborators like Mark Bowen of Idles, channels themes of mortality and feminine rage into the group's signature orchestral pop framework.
