Album Notes & Community Reviews
Flying Lotus's debut introduces his signature off-kilter, 'wonky' hip-hop sound. '1983' is a cosmic mix of J Dilla-style beats, retro synths, and jazz samples. It laid the groundwork for the Los Angeles beat scene.
