Kieran Hebden eschewed formal promotional campaigns for his seventh LP, releasing it with a stark, raw aesthetic. Heavily inspired by early 90s pirate radio and UK jungle, the album features unpolished, aggressive sequencing that contrasts with his previously organic folktronica sound.
