Kieran Hebden pivots from the pastoral, acoustic-leaning folktronica of his earlier work to construct intensely complex, club-adjacent rhythms. By heavily manipulating raw live drum recordings into erratic, glitchy beat patterns, the music creates a frenetic yet structurally coherent collision of free jazz aesthetics and IDM.
