Album Notes & Community Reviews
Supported by an eclectic backing band featuring Lester Bowie and Joseph Bowie, the tenor saxophonist bridges the gap between chaotic free jazz and deep groove. 'Fresh' is a high-energy, manic exploration of avant-garde sensibilities, successfully grafting playful jazz-funk rhythms onto relentless, abrasive improvisations.
