Album Notes & Community Reviews
Backed by an exceptional rhythm section and the muscular trumpet work of Leo Smith, the tenor saxophonist unleashes a fierce, high-energy free jazz statement. The recording balances intense, abrasive improvisational bursts with underlying rhythmic cohesion, representing a peak in the 1970s loft jazz movement.
