Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Trash Classic', Frankie and the Witch Fingers expands to a five-piece, embedding wiry synths and angular, new wave-inspired guitars into a jittery post-punk framework. The album's lyrical themes of societal decay, consumerism, and rot are delivered with sardonic humor, pairing danceable, manic grooves with critiques of late-stage capitalism. Produced by Maryam Qudus, the recording captures a frantic and twitchy energy, fusing proto-punk venom and industrial grime into a sound that is both chaotic and tightly controlled.
