Album Notes & Community Reviews

Austrian composer and flugelhornist Franz Koglmann explores the melancholic space between cool jazz aesthetics and rigorous modern classical structure. 'L'heure bleue' utilizes highly precise, avant-garde arrangements that favor subtle, intellectual interplay over aggressive free improvisation.
