Collaborating with members of Samla Mammas Manna and the Muffins, former Henry Cow guitarist Fred Frith delivered an astonishingly inventive, purely instrumental solo debut. 'Gravity' brilliantly collides the complex, uncommon time signatures of avant-prog with global folk dances and post-punk energy, resulting in a remarkably playful, fiercely rhythmic avant-garde triumph.
