Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Innercity Griots' is a staggeringly inventive masterpiece of the West Coast underground that redefined rapid-fire, highly abstract lyrical phrasing. The group delivers incredibly playful, energetic, and deeply intricate chopper flows over raw jazz-rap and boom-bap production.
