III

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'III', Fuath delivers four expansive tracks of cold and hypnotic atmospheric black metal, furthering mainman Andy Marshall's vision of a sound more ferocious and raw than his primary project, Saor. The album's compositions are built on blistering, tremolo-driven guitar layers and propelled by blast beats, while the distant, spectral vocals are integrated as an additional haunting texture within the mix. Steeped in themes of dark folklore and ancient mysticism, the work balances harsh intensity with a soaring and melancholic melodic depth to create a bleak, frostbitten soundscape.
