Surprise-released by the notoriously elusive Swedish orthodox black metal project, this third full-length album is an utterly terrifying, uncompromising assault on the senses. The sole member Arioch (of Marduk fame) unleashes blindingly fast, chaotic tremolo riffs and horrifying, sermon-like vocal samples to create a profoundly blasphemous atmosphere. It was widely championed as a masterclass in suffocatingly evil, traditional extreme metal.
