Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Tommy LiPuma, 'High Contrast' marks a highly successful collaboration between the Hungarian guitar virtuoso and R&B legend Bobby Womack. G谩bor Szab贸's distinctive, gypsy-inflected acoustic lines are perfectly framed by Womack's tight, funky rhythm section and crisp songwriting. The resulting soul-jazz synthesis proved to be one of the most commercially and critically resonant statements of Szab贸's career.
