Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released on 22 November 2010 via Decon, 'Gutter Water' is the debut studio album by the American hip hop duo Gangrene. The project delivers a dense, atmospheric, and boastful take on boom bap and hardcore hip hop, built upon heavy sampling and deeply psychedelic production. Firmly rooted in the West Coast hip hop scene, the highly rhythmic record balances raw, hedonistic lyricism with chipmunk soul and jazz rap influences.
