Gangrene

Biography

Gangrene is the American hip-hop duo formed by influential producers and rappers *The Alchemist* and *Oh No*. The project began after the two were introduced by *Evidence* of *Dilated Peoples*. Known for a sound they've described as 'sick' and 'rotten', their music is a dense collage of grimy, psychedelic beats and abstract, often confrontational rhymes. Debuting in 2010, they released a series of acclaimed projects, including 'Gutter Water', 'Vodka & Ayahuasca', and 'You Disgust Me', on labels like #Decon# and #Mass Appeal#. Their work is celebrated for its raw, sample-heavy, and experimental approach to underground hip-hop.
