Album Notes & Community Reviews

Having achieved minor mainstream success earlier in his career, the Memphis MC notoriously pivoted back towards the incredibly dark, hyper-violent aesthetics of his city's underground. The remarkably bleak, heavily occult-influenced lyricism is paired with surprisingly polished, G-Funk-inspired synthesizer production rather than traditional lo-fi drum machines. The deeply menacing, remarkably focused recording secured his legacy as a profoundly influential, foundational figure in Southern horrorcore.
