Album Notes & Community Reviews
Handling all writing, arranging, and the majority of instrumentation himself, the Austin guitar prodigy broadens his sonic palette significantly on his second major-label studio release. 'The Story of Sonny Boy Slim' weaves his blistering Texas blues-rock solos into a heavily grooving tapestry of contemporary neo-soul, gospel, and R&B.
