Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gary Moore pauses his typical high-gain, hard-rocking blues approach to deliver a profoundly respectful, highly sentimental tribute to his mentor, legendary Fleetwood Mac guitarist Peter Green. Crucially utilizing Green's famous 1959 Les Paul guitar, 'Blues for Greeny' perfectly replicates the warm, heavily sustained tone and deeply emotive phrasing that defined the British blues boom. The album stands securely as one of the most reverent, beautifully executed tribute records in modern blues history.
