Album Notes & Community Reviews

An incredibly obscure but foundational document of the American Primitivism movement, 'Intensifications' explores the outer boundaries of acoustic instrumentation. The duo radically deconstructs Appalachian folk and bluegrass forms through droning, psychedelic improvisations, predating the wider avant-folk explosions of the late 60s.
