Album Notes & Community Reviews

Facing the daunting departure of frontman Peter Gabriel, Genesis seamlessly transitioned Phil Collins to lead vocals and delivered a surprisingly robust, highly celebrated triumph. 'A Trick of the Tail' scales back their theatrical bombast for a profoundly melodic, beautifully lush progressive rock journey, weaving deeply complex musical passages with surreal fantasy folklore.
