Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking a definitive bridge between their complex 1970s epics and their imminent pop-rock superstardom, Genesis delivered an incredibly cohesive, emotionally resonant triumph. 'Duke' pairs Tony Banks' sweeping progressive synthesizer suites with Phil Collins' deeply passionate, highly melodic songwriting, largely inspired by profound loneliness and his recent divorce.
