Album Notes & Community Reviews

On his debut solo album 'Can I Get a Pack of Camel Lights?', Animal Collective's Brian Weitz (Geologist) centers the compositions around the drone and texture of a distorted hurdy-gurdy. The resulting instrumental work is an uncommercial and experimental expedition, blending hazy electronics with industrial, raga-rock, and post-punk tendencies into rich, jagged soundscapes that prioritize mood and repetition over melodic hooks.
