Album Notes & Community Reviews

Co-led by saxophonist George Adams and pianist Don Pullen, this quartet delivered fiercely energetic post-bop that seamlessly transitioned into fiery, free-jazz excursions. Backed by a phenomenal rhythm section of Dannie Richmond and Cameron Brown, 'Earth Beams' captures the ensemble's spontaneous interplay and raw intensity. The record bridges the structural discipline of modern jazz with unbridled avant-garde expression.
