Album Notes & Community Reviews

In a rare departure from producing her own material, the prolific avant-soul visionary enlisted the legendary Madlib to handle the entirety of this album's beat construction. The project is incredibly cohesive, pairing Muldrow's soaring, multi-tracked vocal harmonies and spiritual lyricism with the producer's signature dusty, crate-digging loop aesthetics. It functions as a brilliant, deeply warm intersection of Los Angeles underground hip-hop and cosmic psychedelic soul.
