Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Joan Jett, the sole studio album from the Germs effectively laid the devastating, hyper-aggressive foundation for the entire Los Angeles hardcore scene. Fueled by Darby Crash's deeply misanthropic, intensely poetic nihilism and Pat Smear's blistering guitar work, '(GI)' is a remarkably raw, fiercely energetic punk rock masterpiece.
