Album Notes & Community Reviews

A breathtaking cross-cultural summit, this ensemble unites Iranian kamancheh master Kayhan Kalhor with Indian sitar virtuoso Shujaat Husain Khan and tabla player Swapan Chaudhuri. The trio transcends their respective classical traditions through deeply spiritual, entirely improvised dialogue, creating a hypnotic meditation on the shared musical heritage of the Silk Road.
