Album Notes & Community Reviews
Ghost's debut album is a lovingly crafted homage to 70s rock and heavy metal, soaked in theatrical satanic imagery. Unlike the abrasive sounds of extreme metal, 'Opus Eponymous' relies on catchy hooks, melodic vocals, and vintage production. It introduced the world to the band's unique blend of pop sensibility and occult themes.
