Album Notes & Community Reviews

Howe Gelb's revolving desert-rock collective gathers an impressive roster of guest musicians, including Neko Case and Isobel Campbell, for this sun-baked release. The loose, improvisational country-noir arrangements drift through dusty, cinematic landscapes guided by Gelb's distinctively gravelly, idiosyncratic croon.
