Album Notes & Community Reviews
The legendary Brazilian artist traveled to New York to record this sophisticated, heavily synthesized fusion of MPB and contemporary pop-rock. 'Ra莽a humana' integrates new wave and subtle reggae influences, addressing philosophical and social themes with Gil's characteristically rhythmic and vibrant songwriting. The album notably features a prominent collaboration with the reggae act The Wailers on 'Vamos Fugir'.
