Album Notes & Community Reviews

Riding the crest of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Ian Gillan's eponymous band delivered a frenetic, high-energy assault with their fourth studio album. 'Future Shock' pairs aggressive, proto-speed metal riffing with the former Deep Purple frontman's distinctively soaring vocal acrobatics and tongue-in-cheek lyricism[cite: 1].
