Before the World Was Big

The debut full-length from the Los Angeles indie duo is an incredibly stark, vulnerable document of teenage transition and profound friendship. Completely lacking drums or percussion, the brief, poignant songs rely entirely on interlocking, harmonized vocals, a single electric guitar, and a bass. The skeletal, unpolished instrumentation places extreme focus on the earnest, emotionally direct lyricism.
