Album Notes & Community Reviews

Jones's fourth solo album and his first for Thrill Jockey, whose head Bettina Richards signed him in 2010 after the death of his friend Jack Rose. Recorded by Reuben Son in a fourth-floor Allston apartment, with commuter trains audible in the room, its eleven tracks mark his first use of banjo and close with the seventeen-minute duet 'The Orca Grande Cement Factory at Victorville' alongside percussionist Chris Corsano.
