Album Notes & Community Reviews
Revisiting the hip-hop and breakbeat influences that informed their 1992 classic 'Pure', the industrial metal pioneers present an incredibly bleak, groove-oriented onslaught. 'Purge' is characterized by rigid, pummeling drum machine loops and massive walls of down-tuned sludge guitars. It remains a brutally effective exploration of urban alienation and psychological distress.
