Album Notes & Community Reviews
On 'Songs of Love and Hate', Godflesh replaces their signature drum machine with a live drummer, resulting in an incredibly aggressive, organic groove. The album maintains Justin Broadrick's heavy, mechanical industrial metal sound while exploring rhythmic sludge and misanthropic urban themes.
