Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging prominently from the vibrant and eccentric Welsh music scene, 'Bwyd Time' captures Gorky's Zygotic Mynci at their absolute most chaotic and endearingly surreal. The album effortlessly shifts between whimsical acoustic folk, abrasive psychedelia, and deeply melodic pop, often switching seamlessly between English and Welsh lyrics mid-song. It stands today as a defining and highly influential artifact of 90s avant-pop, celebrated for its boundless creativity and total refusal to adhere to conventional genre boundaries.
