Album Notes & Community Reviews
Becoming an inescapable soundtrack to international lounges and cafes, this Paris-based collective pioneered a highly sophisticated fusion of traditional South American music and modern club culture. 'La revancha del tango' marries the melancholic, acoustic sensuality of bandone贸ns and violins with heavy dub basslines and downtempo trip-hop beats. It elegantly revitalized Argentine tango for the electronic era without compromising the genre's inherent passion.
