Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking her first studio album in 19 years, the legendary Jamaican pop icon returned with an incredibly dark, fiercely commanding project. Re-teaming with long-time rhythm section Sly and Robbie alongside Brian Eno on production, the record utilizes heavy dub basslines, trip-hop percussion, and her signature formidable, androgynous vocal delivery. It was universally praised as a triumphant, uncompromising return to form.
