Grace Jones is a Jamaican singer, model, and actress known for her androgynous, statuesque appearance and her revolutionary musical blend of post-punk, reggae, and dance. After a successful modeling career in Paris, she signed with #Island Records#, releasing a trio of disco albums including 'Portfolio' and 'Fame'. In the early 1980s, she pivoted to a new wave sound with the help of the Compass Point All Stars, creating the iconic trilogy of albums 'Warm Leatherette', 'Nightclubbing', and 'Living My Life'.
