Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a dramatic shift from her early disco hits, Grace Jones traveled to the Bahamas to invent a remarkably sleek, icy fusion of reggae, funk, and new wave. Covering the likes of The Normal and Joy Division, 'Warm Leatherette' is a fiercely rhythmic, highly eclectic, and intensely sensual art-pop record that established her deeply mysterious, nocturnal persona.
