Album Notes & Community Reviews

The eighth solo album from the legendary Blur guitarist is a raw, jagged, and notably frantic exploration of distorted indie rock. Dispensing with his previous acoustic inclinations, Coxon heavily utilizes synthesizers, aggressive drum machines, and blistering walls of guitar feedback to craft a tense, Krautrock-influenced sonic assault. It functions as an anxious, highly energetic document of urban paranoia and middle-aged restlessness.
