Album Notes & Community Reviews

Plagued by severe technical issues that forced the band to completely re-record the album in a matter of days, the resulting project pulses with a tense, frantic live energy. Produced by Nick Lowe, the record pushes Parker's soulful pub-rock sound into harder, more aggressive territory, directly mirroring the intensity of the exploding punk scene. The incredibly tight backing of The Rumour provides a muscular framework for Parker's biting, cynical lyricism.
