Album Notes & Community Reviews
On their third studio album, the Finnish ensemble continues to masterfully execute apocalyptic deathrock and driving post-punk. 'Plagueboys' wraps its dark, deeply cynical commentary on societal collapse in incredibly catchy, synth-laced gothic rock melodies. The record juxtaposes bright, shimmering guitar tones with a pervasive atmosphere of cold dread and surreal, morbid lyricism.
