Album Notes & Community Reviews
'As Rapture Comes' finds the influential Swedish outfit returning to their most abrasive, uncompromising death metal roots. Discarding the groove-oriented experimentation of previous records, the album relies entirely on fast, aggressive blast beats and punishingly heavy guitar tone. It is widely considered a powerful resurgence that reaffirmed their status as pioneers of the Stockholm sound.
