The second installment of the band's 2012 trilogy pivots toward a much looser, garage-rock-inspired sound. Described by frontman Billie Joe Armstrong as the 'party' record of the series, it leans heavily into playful, hedonistic pop-punk energy reminiscent of their side-project Foxboro Hot Tubs.
